AUTISM SCREENING & DIAGNOSTIC SUPPORT
Many families reach out with questions about autism screening, diagnosis, or what steps to take next. If you’re noticing developmental differences or have concerns about your child, you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
We help families understand screening results, discuss next steps, and connect with trusted medical providers for diagnostic evaluations when appropriate.
Not Sure Where to Start? We Can Help.
Developmental screeners can help organize concerns and guide conversations with your child’s pediatrician or specialist.
These tools are not diagnostic, but they can be a useful place to begin. Call us for a screener appointment.

UNDERSTANDING DIAGNOSIS & Eligibility for ABA Therapy
Families reach out to us at many different points in their journey — from early developmental concerns to recent school or medical evaluations.
ABA therapy is provided under a medical model, which typically requires a medical diagnosis from a qualified provider. If you’re unsure what type of evaluation your child has had — or what comes next — we’re happy to talk it through with you.
Our team regularly helps families:
Understand the difference between school-based eligibility and medical evaluations
Navigate conversations with pediatricians and specialists
Determine appropriate next steps based on individual needs

The assessment itself takes approximately three hours, with about two weeks for report development and review before insurance submission.
Your ABA Assessment Process
When ABA therapy is recommended and appropriate, we complete a comprehensive assessment to better understand your child’s strengths, needs, and priorities.
Our assessment process includes:
A 3-hour comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Direct observation and caregiver interview
Review of developmental history and current concerns
Identification of meaningful, functional goals
Each assessment is individualized — there are no “one-size-fits-all” evaluations.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE ABA ASSESSMENT
-
Our clinical team develops a detailed assessment report and treatment plan. This process typically takes approximately two weeks.
-
We meet with caregivers to review findings, recommendations, and proposed goals — ensuring clarity and collaboration.
-
The assessment and treatment plan are submitted to insurance for authorization prior to beginning therapy.
-
Once authorization is approved, therapy services are scheduled and initiated.
